There are new paintings and digital reproductions for sale
Digital reproductions: images of existing works of art like paintings, watercolors, etc. that are either photographed or scanned and uploaded into a computer, and then printed out to look exactly the same as the originals.
A limited edition print is so named because its run - the number of these prints that are created - is limited to a specific number, say, 50. Each run is determined by size and any other qualifying factors (on paper or on canvas); for example íf you purchase the 3th print sold in the 20 x 30 on paper run, on the print will be written 3/50, which indicates that your print is the 3th piece out of a total of 50 to be created in this particular run.
The print is signed by the artist. It also include a Certificate of Authenticity, a piece of paper that lists out the run size, the number of your print in the run, and the date that the print was created.
